However, it’s been 20 business days since I submitted my application, and I’m still waiting for my documents. I can confirm that BetterLegal did file with the state, which is why I’m giving them 2 stars, but they’ve totally failed to meet their 3-day promise.

Now, I’m stuck having to hire another agent because I honestly doubt I’ll ever see my documents.

They didn't stick to their promised turnaround time, and now I'm left hanging. It's really frustrating since I have a business to manage without any legal structure or documents. I feel trapped by BetterLegal and I absolutely will never pay for their services again. I strongly recommend others steer clear of them too!

Update 4/25/2022: The next day, Better Legal got in touch, explaining they had a tech issue. I finally received the receipt. They also managed to set up my LLC with an EIN in just 3-4 business days, which is super quick. I’ve bumped my rating up from 2 stars to 4 stars.

I got my LLC in just 5 days. Connecting with BetterLegal was awesome; they quickly got back to me with details about my LLC and kept me in the loop the whole time.
